Nickel 200

Nickel 200 is one of the many specialty metals in stock at All Metals & Forge. It is available from their steel service center in over a dozen pre-cut shapes, with each shape offered in a number of sizes. The custom forging company at All Metals & Forge can also produce several forms of Nickel 200 including contour rings, discs, and shafts.

Nickel 200 is a commercially pure, corrosive resistant wrought nickel with better thermal and electrical conductivity than nickel alloys. Its mechanical properties make it excellent for applications in the aerospace and defense industries. It is also frequently used in moderately corrosive environments, such as food processing equipment and chemical shipping drums.

As a result of the high quality of their products and services, All Metals & Forge has received ISO9001:2000 and AS9100 certification. This certification is just one aspect of their commitment to excellence. As highly visible leaders in the metals supply industry, All Metals & Forge is constantly developing new and better materials and services for their clients. Their AM&F Solutions Team is happy to assist with everything from your corporate material issues to inventory management to creating custom designed alloys for special applications.

With one of the fastest forging turnaround times in the industry and a steel service center that houses hundreds of products, All Metals & Forge can easily meet any companies metal supply needs. They regularly cater to companies in the aerospace, defense, chemical, oil, and metalworking industries. Nickel 201

All Metals & Forge carries several different commercially pure versions of nickel, including Nickel 200 and Nickel 201. The main difference between Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 is that the latter has a lower Carbon content. Because of its lower Carbon content, Nickel 201 is well-suited for applications that involve exposure to temperatures above 600 degrees Fahrenheit. (When Nickel 200 is exposed to such high temperatures it is vulnerable to embrittlement.)

Like Nickel 200, Nickel 201 is exceptionally resistant to caustic alkalies. Its applications include various types of equipment in the chemical processing industry. As a leading supplier of specialty metals to companies in the chemical processing, food processing, and oil industries (among many others), All Metals & Forge is proud to offer Nickel 201 in many different forms. It is available through both AM&F’s steel service center and forging company.

All Metals & Forge holds both ISO9001:2000 and AS9100 certification, which is just one of the many reasons their clients place so much trust in AM&F’s products and services. Another area in which All Metals & Forge goes the extra mile for their clients is in the Information Resources section of their website. Many buyers and sellers in the metals supply industry visit AM&F’s website for the vast amount of metallurgical information contained therein.

The Ferrous/Non-Ferrous Material Overview in Information Resources contains a detailed description of Nickel in both its commercial and alloy forms. The IR section also includes a SteelLog dictionary, a bi-monthly newsletter, AlloyInfo Reports and much more.
